Serenity Tale No. 5: 'Beginner's Luck'

Title: BEGINNER'S LUCK

Authors: Jonathan V. Last (words), Mike Russell (art), Bill Mudron (colors)

The Story: Mal and Zoe's fumbling first heist. (It's entirely possible the robbery victims appeared in an episode of the TV series.)

Author bios: Jonathan V. Last is a journalist in Washington, D.C. Mike Russell is a writer and cartoonist in Portland, OR. Bill Mudron is the creator of "Pan" and "Anne Frank Conquers the Moon Nazis." (You can check out Bill's portfolio at ExcelsiorStudios.net.)
